SS & AI offers a range of services and facilities provided by diverse companies that are united by key strengths and common values. Operating from a 15 000m2 facility in Carletonville and sites in Northwest, Mpumalanga and Limpopo. SS & AI provides steel industry engineering services, crane hire facilities, trades in steel and ventilation support systems.

SS & AI operates throughout Africa mainly in the mining and steel industries, but also in the commercial manufacturing arena. The group comprises of Steel Services, Steel Trading and Crane Corporation. 

Our advanced, automated systems allow us to manufacture faster, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. It enables us to improve capacity which provides superior turnaround times for our customers.

With the ability to produce 350 - 600 ton of fabricated steelwork per month, SS & AI will commission any structural steelwork and civil work relating to:

  • Headgear steelwork , Shaft steelwork, Headgear bins, Winder houses
  • Overland conveyors , Arrangement of chutes, Silo steelwork
